Our Experience

Steve and Laura Rajavuori

Steve and Laura

Company founders, Steve and Laura Rajavuori, began building their rental portfolio in 2001. Through managing their own rental properties in the southern Twin Cities area, they gained valuable experience in dealing with the issues that landlords face. The Rajavuoris have personally been involved in every step of the rental process, from identifying and acquiring rental property, to managing successful relationships with good tenants, as well as dealing with the more difficult and unfortunate situations that may arise when managing rental homes.

In 2005, Steve and Laura began REI Property Management to provide for leasing and management of residential rental property for other property owners. Initially REI focused on the southern metro area, but after a successful first year and increased demand, in early 2006 REI began serving the entire Twin Cities metro area. REI's reputation for solid experience and excellent customer service fueled the business to grow quickly.

REI continues to grow and expand into new areas.

Today REI Real Estate & Property Management is recognized as the Twin Cities' leader in residential property management. With over 850 properties currently under management and 29 licensed real estate agents working with them, REI's size and experience is unmatched.

The Rajavuoris have personally been involved in every step of the rental process, managing successful relationships with good tenants.

In 2011 REI added coverage for all of southeastern Minnesota. In addition to the nine-county Twin Cities metro area (Dakota, Scott, Carver, Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Washington, Wright and Sherburne Counties) REI now provides full-service property management and real estate services for Dodge, Freeborn, Goodhue, Olmstead, Rice, Steele, Wabasha and Waseca Counties (including Northfield, Faribault, Owatonna, Albert Lea, Rochester, Lake City, Red Wing, Cannon Falls, and more!).
